As we enter into the coming year, we are yet blessed in spite of the catastrophes around us. We have witnessed fires and floods and the devastation of evil people taking innocent human lives in America and distant lands. Our hearts go out to the families that have suffered loss in so many ways, as we pray for God’s divine intervention in these circumstances. We forever trust in the true and living God to heal our land. We pray that God’s unfailing love through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit will guide us to victory during the coming year.

Your faith is increased as you read the Word of God. People of God must continue to pray, fast, and petition God for all things. We can expect a manifestation of God’s power through prayer. We declare that God’s love, peace, and harmony will be released upon the earth as never before. This will begin with the Church, individually, and collectively. Our prayer is that as we become one with God the father, Son, and Holy Spirit that change will start happening around us. God wants us to not run in fear, but to stand in faith, love, power, and victory knowing that, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).

May the Lord fill you with the wisdom of His Word, and comfort you in knowing all things are possible through faith in Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit!

Remember, this fast is not a diet or ritual; it is a sacred time. It is a time of consecration and prayer.

Jesus Loves You,

Bishop Michael L. Scott

Power House of Praise Christian Fellowship Church 21 Day Consecration

This is a corporate fast for the Powerhouse of Praise Church. We invite everyone to join us as we focus on building up our holy faith in God so that we can stand and intercede for others.
Scriptural Basis for Fasting Daniel 10:2. When this vision came to me, I, Daniel, had been in mourning for three whole weeks. 3 All that time I had eaten no rich food. No meat or wine crossed my lips, and I used no fragrant lotions until those three weeks had passed. (NLT)

Daniel 10:12 Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. 13 But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia. (NLT)
